IT’S A GIRL
  •  MADDISON TAYLOR BULLION was born Friday morning to Casey & Julie (Hanley) Bullion.  She weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 ¼ inches long.  Maddison is the 5th great grandchild for Billie Hanley.

 

OBITS
  •  ROY CASTLES, former elder of the North Main church in Weatherford, passed away last week.  Funeral was Friday in Granbury where he’d lived for several years.
  CENTER OF HOPE
  • Center of Hope is in need of several items to stock their shelves.  It has been suggested that items be divided among the classes to allow more participation. 
 
  • PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY CLASSES:  Canned soups, fruits & vegetables.
  • JUNIOR HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES:  Paper products & cleaning supplies.
  • LADIES BIBLE CLASSES:  Personal hygiene items—soap, toothpaste, combs, etc.
  • ADULT CLASS IN FELLOWSHIP ROOM:  Baby products—diapers, formula, etc.
  • ADULT CLASS IN AUDITORIUM:  Pastas, rice & cereals.
  • Boxes will be placed in each classroom for collection.  Plastic & paper sacks are also needed. 

COUNTYWIDE CLEANUP

  •  
    • Countywide cleanup will be held this year on October 3.  See bulletin board in foyer for more information.

    • ALEX COMBS, grandson of Ed & Judy Dworsky, was baptized last Sunday night at Western Hills church of Christ.

      • Our prayers for rain have been answered in great abundance (near 10 inches fell in a week).  I hope that we all remembered to give thanks for God’s abundant blessings.
      • Ten members of our “family” enjoyed an evening with EEM last Tuesday.
      • Summer is over tomorrow (The Autumnal Equinox) and autumn begins.  Get ready for God’s beautiful fall colors to begin to appear.
